Who we are
The Nigerian Canterbury Association of New Zealand (NCANZ) is a non-profit, community-driven organisation founded to unite Nigerians living in Canterbury and beyond.
We aim to grow a strong and visible Nigerian presence in New Zealand by promoting cultural heritage, supporting newcomers, encouraging community involvement, and building lasting connections.


Our story
Born from the need for unity and mutual support, NCANZ has grown into a vibrant organisation that celebrates the Nigerian identity while fostering meaningful engagement with the wider Kiwi community.
